As part of this current limited interim allocations, the South Australian Government will be prioritising a small number of applications that are deemed to support South Australian economic and public health recovery.
The Department of Home Affairs has instructed the South Australian Government that this interim intake of applications need to be prioritised on the following basis:
a) Those who have already lodged an “Intention To Apply” and are deemed to be high quality applicants within the Business Innovation and Investment program.
b) Applicants that include individuals who have critical skills required to maintain the supply and delivery of essential goods and services in critical sectors which will help in Australian economic recovery and those involved in providing critical and specialist medical services.
c) Consideration will also be given to onshore applicants that satisfy the above criteria.
